Speed Nut U-Shaped
Speed Nut U-Shaped or U-Nuts are self-retaining threaded fasteners that provide easy and fast attachment of mating panels, and will not turn as the screw is driven into place, or freeze on screw threads. U-Nuts have a full lower leg that is ideal for full bearing in applications. Speed Nut U-Shaped fasteners are cost saving because they can be installed without special tools, removed and used again. They retain their spring resiliency and holding power.
Self-retaining Speed Nut U-Shaped fasteners are simply clipped, latched or pressed into their mounting holes at the panel edge or central panel location. The mating panel is positioned and the screws driven in for a solid, reliable assembly. Speed Nut fasteners can be installed for both blind and front mounting attachments.
