Expansion Nuts
Expansion Nuts provide a fast and vibration-resistant solution when attaching components to blind or center-panel locations where only one side is accessible. Expansion Nuts easily snap into rectangular holes and are self-retaining by spring legs. Plastic Expansion Nuts are the ideal fastening solution when metal to metal contact is not desired. The plastic enclosure protects screw threads from corrosion or galvanic action, and can be incorporated with a seal for extra protection.
Easy to install, Expansion Nuts lock into place when the screw is driven causing the legs to expand. They require no special tools or skills and can be used in place of weld nuts, clinch nuts or stake-type fasteners. Expansion Nuts can be applied before of after painting because they will not clog and do not require masking.
