A-K Series Inserts

A-K Series Threaded Inserts feature a knurled body and reduced or low profile head to allow for virtually flush installation. A-K Series Inserts are identical to A-L Series inserts but the reduced profile head eliminates countersinking and dimpling of the parent material. It’s the ideal threaded fastener for installing into the front side of a panel, tube or structure when the backside is inaccessible.

When installed with AVK ARO installation tools, the A-K Series knurled body expands 360 degrees and fills the hole while providing exceptional torque strength and vibration resistance. It forms a backside flange onto the material and remains captive to a mating component which can be attached using standard hardware. AVK Inserts can be installed in thinner materials without using weld nuts, clinch nuts and threaded screws. A-K Series blind installed threaded inserts come in a variety of sizes and finishes.

AVK Inserts are also available in kits.
